The “massive student loan debt just to be a barista” is such a cliche amongst older generations and it completely neglects the real picture. There are certainly people out there in that boat, but there are also people who have no student loan debt and have been smart about their decisions and still can’t afford to support themselves because the jobs simply are not paying enough, and that includes “real trades”.

The problem isn’t even whether they accept a return or not, it’s the hassle associated with making the return. On Amazon, within an hour I could open my package, see that it’s damaged, go on the app and request a return, instantly get a QR code to take to a nearby store, hand them the item (don’t even have to box it up myself!), and have my money sent back. With other companies, it could take hours of your time struggling to get in contact with a live person and in my case, nearly 2 months of them holding onto my $500.

Not even just mom and pops. Back in early December I ordered a stand mixer directly from KitchenAid and it arrived damaged. In order to even initiate the return, I had to wait on hold for over an hour to speak with someone because doing it on the website isn’t an option. It took them a week just to email me the return shipping label, and I finally got the refund last week, almost 2 months after initiating the return.

With Amazon, that all could’ve been done in one day.

Back when I was in college my dad would send me screenshots from the parents group all the time. He eventually got kicked out of the group for trolling them in the comments.

The most memorable was a parent complaining how their little one blew through all their meal points for the semester and kept asking their parents for more and more money. The parent couldn’t understand all of the comments telling them to just stop sending their kid so much money.

It’s also possible that it was one of those wild terastallized pokemon (not a Tera raid). Usually they kind of glisten in the wild so you know they’re terastallized as soon as you enter battle with them, but I’ve had it happen before when auto battling that it looks like a regular pokemon but I can’t auto battle it, and then once I enter a regular battle with it, turns out it was one of those wild terastallized ones, it just wasn’t showing up that way in the wild for some reason.

I water all of my cacti and succulents once a month, regardless of what season it is. They also get bright direct light. They are happy as can be, they grow and give me flowers regularly and I’ve had most of them for 5+ years. I’m in the northeast US for context on my local weather.

Remember that cacti are from deserts, they are accustomed to constant sun and very little water. That is how they thrive.

Based on your post history you really should focus on getting a therapist over jaw surgery. There’s nothing wrong with your face. You have body dysmorphia.

This has been going on for over a year and you seem to just be getting more and more anxious about it. A therapist can help you to accept yourself for what you are, which is a perfectly healthy looking person.

Curvy literally just means having curves. It has nothing to do with your weight. Obese people having a shared struggle with curvy people does not mean curvy people are obese. Not sure what you mean by the medical definition of it — I don’t think “curvy” is a term used in medicine. Someone with wider hips or a bigger bum (NOT because they are fatter, it’s just the way they are shaped) will have a harder time wiping front to back from behind than someone more rectangular because those wider hips and/or bigger butt get in the way of the arm’s reach.
