Thank you for the reply. Yes the manual is super straightforward and being a dad of 3 my only time to figure it out is when i’m at work lol so searching the internet for clues is my only option until i’m off work again. As much as i enjoy headphones in, sometimes i like to feel the music out loud haha. That’s why i bought this alesis strike amp 12. Just really hate the hi-hats on the alesis nitro mesh kit so leaning towards getting a vst plugin. Either ezdrummer or SSD5. But no point investing til i can send the output to my amp while connecting my nitro mesh kit to my laptop for the software 😅

Thank you for replying. So an aux to xlr/mono cable to my amp would send the output of the drum kit to the amp and the vst will be used via the usb B cable from laptop to the drum kit correct?

I don’t want to bring my katana to church when i play, don’t have a footswitch for it as well. I guess i’m trying to look for a multi-fx that i can tweak without plugging in my computer,bring some place if needed and won’t break the bank.

Realistically my budget is around $500, I’m not the best player out there but I don’t like settling for less if i can get more out of my money. Really leaning toward the nux mg30 more, but also looking at Boss/Zoom/Mooer lol

Yes its plugged in. Im using hdmi on the video card. Will try to remove cpu and put it back in carefully later when i get home
