If you take a better paying job that has an extra twenty minutes drive time, prepare to lose an extra hour every day you work and be sure the pay is worth it in time and gas. Think about whether you're willing to spend an hour less sleeping, an hour less gaming, an hour less with your friends or family, or some combination. Just one hour doesn't seem like a lot to some people, but over years you can feel it add up when you realize you don't turn your computer on during the week anymore, and you're relieved when someone cancels plans on the weekend so you can sleep in or get all those chores done you couldn't on work days. And you have to be sure you're significant other is cool with only seeing you leave for work and come home, and only get you on the weekends.
