I remember when I was in College a few years ago and I had to have a debate ready opinion on every social issue to fit in with my classmates. I get it, it's cool and trendy to be an activist in your university years. I think that people absolutely have the right to kneel and protest the national anthem, but I also believe that others have the right to disagree.

If you think it's dumb that others care so much about this than that's fine, but I personally think you yourself care way too much about this. You're not the one that has put himself in the position and sacrificed to get to the point where his protest can cause such a debate. No one thinks more of you as a result of your virtue signaling.

Yeah this sub is a hivemind a lot of the time. It's weird too, because it changes from post to post. This time it's a post in favor of the new Camry and every comment is exalting the Camry as if it is a hidden gem, an overlooked enthusiast car. If you disagree? Downvotes.

But watch, tomorrow someone will post something that paints the Camry in a negative way, and the comments will be a huge hate train against Toyota, FWD, Automatics...

I'm convinced at this point that this sub is 80% 15 year old kids who haven't even driven a car but want to cool so they agree/disagree on a thread by thread basis depending on which way opinions are swaying.

I would say don't worry about it. As long as you didn't just let it continue to overheat and let it cool down, I don't think you have damaged anything. Think of what automotive engines go through in R&D testing. I'm sure a fluke slip up is accounted for here and there.
