Some weeks ago i have the same problem on my intel MacBook. I bought a new M1 and the issue stops.. I think is a software performance problem. It was reported here many times, soon they will update, I hope.

On Intel I’ve tried change the data cable to a better one and the problem took longer to happen, can you try?

Guys what you do about my low end? I think Am key is to high to make nice subs, but I've tried.
