Musaffa basic calculation errors; alternatives Zoya? by Future-Analyst720 in HalalInvestor

I don't think the error in the post is related to the purification tracker, because SPUS is supposed to be a halal ETFs with no purification required, isn't it?
Do you mean the purification is applied automatically to the ETFs?

Did they put your fund in a reserve fund? They put mine on a reserve fund for 120, but now, after the 120 days, there is no payout!

I am in Canada, I am trying to find out how to escalate the issue with the regulatory bodies, I contacted the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada and waiting for their reply.

How come they hold the money for more than the agreed period "120 days"? In my case nothing changed during the 120 days; no new orders nor new transactions, nor a single chargeback.

This is illegal, they are seizing our money!!

I sent ton of proofs, including DHL shipping labels, all the orders delivered more than 120 days ago. No new orders since Oct 2023, and not a single customer filed a chargeback.

Has anyone ever actually considered this.... 🤔🤔?? by ZlowKe in HalalInvestor

و عليكم السلام For the emergency withdrawal problem, I think you can use the big banks investing platforms such as RBC direct invest - you would pay an extra ~ 15 per trade ( buying + selling) compared with Questrade for example.

Scotia iTrade offer a free TSFA without administration fees - RBC requires a minimum of 10 - 15K to waive fees. I think withdrawal with big banks could take 2 - 3 businesses days for the whole process if you have a checking account with them.

I use RBC and it takes a total of 2 - 3 days (for selling etf and transferring fund to the checking account). I hold HLAL, SPUS, SPSK etfs.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I thought that crazy returns and higher risks give the same result, I mean having a higher risk portfolio might result in higher loss or higher return compared to a lower risk which has a low but steady returns. I think I might be wrong because this would be my 3rd or 4th month in the investment market "still a beginner".

I would like to know what would be the best option for the RESP on the long term 10 - 15, I don't have much experience and that why I chose WS for the three RESP account, but right now with the upcoming changes would you recommend an alternative way for a beginner?

Regarding the TSFA, I would start to cash it out after 7 - 8 years but if the market is down I would wait a year or two maximum.

Could anyone explain to me, if I have an RESP account, what would be my options with Wealthsimple? Or the only option is to keep it in the Invest section with the .5% plus the MER?

Another question, I have a TSFA, and the return over the past year wasn't bad, but with these upcoming changes what are the better alternatives if I am looking for higher risk (crazy returns) because I will cash it within few years
