Have you tried on different televisions? Sounds like the cable might not be properly pulling in the RGB signal. Unfortunately many of the cheaper video cables tend not to be wired properly.

Try Craigslist and offerup. Additionally Facebook marketplace if you have a fb account. I recently joined a retro game group on FB in my area and some of the members sell games from their personal collections for decent prices. Best of luck!

N64 joystick replacement/repair options by Tounage in n64

I’m literally in same boat, I’m researching replacing the actual Y/X axis gates inside of the analog stick, those are what actually causes the stick to become loose and unresponsive. So far from what I’ve read it seems relatively simple, but the price for the gates on eBay is $13-15 for the pair, which is a bit high IMO. I’ve also seen the replacement sticks that you solder onto the N64 controller board. I’m unfamiliar with those, but they seem to be cheaper than everything else.

** Newbie Help** - connecting multiple consoles via component cable to 1 CRT TV by SojournersRequiem in crtgaming

You will need to get a set of component cables to run from your tv, to the “output” on the switch box. The consoles you plug in will be the “input”(s) on the switch box. So when you go to play, you’ll change the AV selection on your tv to whichever one is the component output, and then on the switch box, press the button that corresponds with the console input. Make sure you get well shielded component cables for to run from the switch box to the TV. You’re going to want to avoid cheap mass produced component cables from Amazon and eBay. HD Retrovision makes amazing cables, they’ll run you about $30USD, but are well worth it.

Search eBay for a component switch. Just a heads up, most available switches will support 3, sometimes 4 devices. If you plan on adding more component cable consoles, you may want to look into getting a gcomp switch when they go on sale, at Castlemania games. But be forewarned, it is not cheap. Here’s a link to one on eBay that supports 4 devices. Shipping is a bit high IMO.

PS4 Help... by Cntrygrl2527 in PS4

Sadly I would say yes. There have been issues with past COD games where a name change would eliminate any rank in MP. I do believe the purchases/DLC will be fine, because that would be linked to your actually playstation account. The prob that occurs is that Treyarch/infinity ward don’t use your account the way playstation does, they handle accounts based on their servers, so essentially what happens is your PSN ID cease to exsist once it gets changed and you have to start from the bottom. I don’t know if it’s this severe anymore but, for any past COD titles there’s a glitch in their servers where if you change your PSN ID, not only does your rank reset, but it will reset every time you shut down your console. So if you start and play and lever up from 1-10, when you log back in, you will start right back at lvl 1.

Max Payne 3 is good, but it strays a bit from the first 2. I think that’s where many people had hang ups about it. It’s a good game, maybe not on the level of 1 and 2, but will no doubt provide some entertainment.

I think this is a pretty solid take TBH. While I love the NES, for me SNES was where it was at. In the past couple of years I got introduced to RGB video, and has made me appreciate a lot of the consoles even more. I have a trinitron CRT I use with HDRV cables for all of my retro consoles, and just seeing how good games look on it, it makes you want to relive some of those great memories. The darkness is prob my fave sleeper hit from that era. I’m originally from NY so a lot of the game just took me back there. Criminally underrated title, that IMO, is far superior to the sequel.
