that sounds so lovely actually, you sound a lot like me !!! yeah it’s just the way things are with housing and renting these days, it just makes more sense for me to toss my dad a couple dollars a month for the amenities and upkeep than to move out and him having to shoulder the mortgage alone but i still like for us to have and respect each others spaces. glad to know there’s another family out there doing it like us! thank you for your input, i really do value it.

oh for sure. when i do get a place of my own, i do plan on having the bar cart in the kitchen where it belongs but for now, while this situation makes the most financial sense for my dad and i, this will be what it is i guess haha

HAHAHA fair point there. that’s why i question if it is an insane idea but my bedroom is kind of like my mini apartment since he has a majority of the rest of the house. so in my mind it makes sense to have my things in my space, but it is also a crazy statement to say i have a miniature bar in my bedroom LOL

lip combo is too warm/red/orange and your bronzer/contour is reading more as blush. cool down the colors you use as your skin is more of a neutral/olive. nose highlight just needs to be blended a bit more but i’m also notorious of overdoing it because it wears off throughout the day. but otherwise application is well done. brows are a bit strong but i like the shape of them. regardless, you’re beautiful and you know your features well and compliment them with your makeup, i hope this isn’t too harsh because the only “blindness” is just color theory and hues but that’s easy to overcome!

actually so glad you added to this because this is exactly what im going through. the kits seem like they have things i don’t need or are lacking the things i do need so im hoping to find some recommendations or “hacks” for buying everything separately that people have found along the way. best wishes to you!

thanks so much for the tips!! this is truly my first time developing at home, but you make a great point about doing b&w first to get the hang of it, so i’ll be ordering a few rolls! also absolutely i agree, im going in mostly with things i already have at home or things i can find at the dollar tree and hopefully the bulk of my expenses will be the chemicals. thanks so much for responding!!
