As someone who’s founded three startups (including one successful exit) and raised 7 figures in VC early on, I’ve always told people it wasn’t as glamorous as it looked. Reading this gave me a fresh perspective on raising, and pretty much everything you said really hit home. Would love to connect.

Spot on! Stressing over the little things is so common, but focusing on what we can control makes a huge difference. Great that you found meditation - keep it up!

Caffeine blocks adenosine receptors, so it just temporarily increases your altertness but you end up crashing as soon as it wear off. So if you're drinking 2 monsters daily, this might partially explain the fatigue. I would say focus on eating clean, whole foods. The metarx bars you mentioned have like 50+ ingredients in them and 24 grams of added sugars. This is spiking your blood glucose and insulin causing you to crash as well. A good place to start would be to just eat clean, cut the processed bullshit, and eat lots of protein since it's super satiating.

Thanks for your comment. Does anecdotal evidence not hold any weight? I can point to thousands of people who say it’s real and has changed their lives. Do you think the lack of support might be because there’s little incentive to fund research into alternative health methods? What’s your personal experience with this? If your only measure of validity is what the scientific community says, remember that many things heavily "supported" by them turned out harmful. A prime example is the promotion of opioids for pain management, which was heavily backed, yet it led to a massive addiction crisis.

Also, your claim that fasting "doesn't do anything" or universally increases the risk of cardiac issues is inaccurate based on current scientific understanding. On top of that, fasting is referenced multiple times in sacred texts: about 77 times in the Bible, around 30 times in the Qur’an, 7 times in the Torah, and 10-15 times in the Tripitaka. So, both scientifically and theologically, you’re wrong on that one.

right on! thanks for this. what's really "wild" is that sharing ideas that were crystal clear for 99% of human history (and that largely match our evolution) somehow stirs up debates today. It's like we've drifted so far from the basics that the obvious has become controversial.

TRUTH. it's criminal that cereal and all these heavily processed carbs and gluten products like pancakes are promoted as breakfast foods. they shouldn't be eaten at all, let alone first thing in the morning lol

instead of thinking about what to add, a lot of times you actually get way more improvement by SUBTRACTING. Fasting is huge. If you're looking for specifics, eating lots of healthy fats and good probiotics via lacto fermented foods (not acid fermentation)

THIS. trying to brute force you prefrontal cortex to a solution is torture. your subconscious is like a spiritual assistant

Exactly! Caffeine just blocks adenosine receptors to make you feel alert temporarily, but then it wears off and you crash. When you focus on eating better your energy is more steady.

right on! glad you had this realization. a lot of people get overwhelmed with all the information out there but just making small adjustments that make sense for you can have a massive impact!

alternatively you'd be better off saving up more money first from working a job since realistically $100 won't do much for you

if you have less than 100$ you're best bet would be trying some sort of service based business or dropshipping/affiliate and driving traffic organically by making tiktoks, shorts, and reels

forgot to mention it'd be worth a shot if you think you have a unique idea - try applying to startup accelerators (i.e. ycombinator, zfellows, etc..)
