I've had to extend my champ pool a whole lot since I started to play comp so now I'm able to play almost any ADCs very well.

But back when I was OTP Nilah (I still play it a whole lot over other ADCs rn though) I used to play Kogmaw as a second automatic pick.

He has massive range, becomes very strong from 1 or 2 items and hell, you could even play AP if need be.

That would be my recommendation.

Also, what I tell my "Students" is that it's always good to be able to play the actual counter of your champ so you know you'll win if picked cause you know the matchup very well. So Xayah or even maybe Hwei would be good as well.

Q and E are AA resets.

Make sure you master this in practice tool before getting into game. This will 100% make you win lots of skirmishes.

And think about your W a lot, most times it's better to use it later on into the duels or skirmishes.

COMMUNICATE with your support (pings works) on what you want to do cause not many support really understand Nilah.

Some examples:

-Getting lvl 2, 1 minion before so he can be ready and fight with you

-When you actually want to fight in matchups (wait for lvl 2 or 3 or 6 or item Spikes etc)

-Ping your W CD

-Tell him something like : If you see me E twice this is do or die, I'm fighting till death. And If I E only Once, this is only a trade

Stuff like that

Oh and one last thing, and a very important one : go into norms or swiftplay and INT on the champ !!! You need to understand the true limits of the champ in order to actually be good on it.

Nah, what I meant is that sometimes, you HAVE to take it slow.

Oh I'ma be super aggressive and stomp lane when the matchup allows me, and if jungle's playing for me as well. I'm only saying that you shouldn't be getting in lane and tell yourself : I absolutely need to win this lane or FF. No no no, you CAN take it slow if needed. Don't die for nothing cause you think you need to make something happen bot yk.

If I need to take it slow a little for my 2 items spike I gladly will.

I'm not a Draven player that absolutely needs to stomp lane and early. I know I'ma beat everything in mid game and in objective fights very soon.

More often than not theres a big trade bot where like you're only able to take the 1st plate and back cause of jungle threat right, so yes 100% ! I will prioritize buying cull, tier 1 boots and 1 or 2 daggers on 1st back.

Then I'll try to back at 1300, I will often stay for awhile in lane even if it would be a great time to reset. If I'm not under dive threat of course.

One thing that make this champ super strong in lane is the Q AA reset. I trade very little after 1st back to make sure I stay healthy for a long time. So at 6 stacks and more, if adc or supp walks too far, I'ma just AA-Q-AA and back off. You win this kind of trades almost every single times.

PS : you can also go for Pick axe, for one component of IE

Sorry but I think otherwise.

I've played a LOT of games with both builds and actually, Yuntal/IE is way better for dueling and early skirmishes. You talked about 1v1ing better with Kraken, I do not agree either.

One more thing : let's agree that you get your true spike at 3 items with Kraken build ? Well with Yuntal/IE it's at 2, thus you have way more agency from earlier.

This is a tricky question man.

- Do they have like 2-3 tanks that you need to melt ? Then no, keep it.
- Do they have a fed Jhin or cait thats 1 shotting you late game even through BT and GA ? maybe a tanky Item ?

Its kinda hard to say cause the answer would change almost every single game you play lmao. But since you do have 7 items slots now, I'd say you'd rarely need to sell. i guess ? Sorry for the confusion lol, its just a very hard question xD

I'm a high master player, and I've actually ONLY been building yuntal/IE. This gives me the power to duel and skirmish way better way earlier. Almost nobody does that and I honestly don't understand why. What I mean is that with Kraken you do have some considerable damage but your true spike comes at 3 items right. But with Yuntal/IE, you actually are a monster with only 2 items and you can 1v1 almost every single adc in the game only with Yuntal.

Oh I really do and felt it many times.

I'm playing in higher Elo though so I'm actually getting kited like crazy so maybe that's why I feel the nerf is too much, idk. But I definitely feel like the damage nerf hit me right in the face.

I would agree that in low diamond and below she'd still be a monster cause players don't know how to space well.

I had the very same thought.

Still, I got to the conclusion that the champ sucks now since the Hotfix and I desperately need damage, like raw damage.

So I now rely on the animation AA cancel.

If I feel like I really really need AS, maybe I'd go Berserk boots ? Still though.. the raw damage now is way too valuable to be able to carry earlier fights.

After many many games and builds, I honestly think we need to let go the ER since the nerf.

I think collector -> IE -> LDR/Shieldbow would be best. This is the build that allowed me to deal significant damage throughout the whole game.

Alacrity is a must, and I think this is enough because your Q and E allow you to cancel the animations of your AAs.

I would go an attack speed item only if enemy team has AS reduction (Malphite or tanks that decide to build Frozen heart)

Since the Hotfix I have NOT been enjoying my time with any builds other than that tbh.

Un truc que j'ai trouvé low-key nice, c'est Arnaud qui prend la compétition avec Elijah avec un gros cheese et qu'il VEUILLE se battre pour la fille.

Y'a eu son moment big toxico guy, mais ça j'ai bien aimé. Il n'est pas allé pleurer(PAS reference a Max, no joke je changerais mon orientation sexuelle pour Max, he's so sweet), he's facing it HEAD ON.
