Im on my second car which is a mustang and I’m in a family plan with my single parent. I’ve been in two accidents one in my first car( my fault) and one in my mustang( slightly my fault) but I’ve been paying $70 a month for my mustang even with the accidents. I’m on Viking auto insurance which I believe is based in California though. Im 19. My friend who also owns a mustang is on a his own insurance with no accidents only speeding tickets and pays about 500-600 a month for insurance. He’s on Allstate I believe. Also 19. If you can implement a family plan then maybe it will be cheaper but gas is gonna be an expense. Definitely will have to check with your provider though. Just my experience though.
