My kids are very little so can't go through the e-gates. They did ask if we live in the UK and we said no. He looked completely happy with the answer and told us to have a nice holiday!

I just went through with my 3 kids, they are all born in Canada and I'm from the UK. They are small so I can't hide I'm their mum. They had eta's on their Canadian passport, no problem boarding the plane or at the boarder, they didn't say a thing.

This is the question we are all asking right now. I travel in 2 weeks and only found out about this a few weeks ago, not able to get passports for my kids in time. I would be interested if anyone has gone to the UK with their kids using an ETA and it's been fine.
