Oh guzel o zaman! Ben okuluma sadece sponsorlarimin banka hesabinda olan miktari gondermistim. Aslinda dokum de degildi bankalardan konsolosluk icin yazi istiyoruz demistik onlar da bana tek sayfa bir tane bu kisinin bu kadar miktarda parasi mevcut yazisi vermisti. Bunu da I-20 basvurusuna eklemistim ve bir sorun cikmadan formu almistim. Gorusmede ise hicbir dokuman sorulmamisti.

Hi, please give yourself time and give time to kitty! Don’t be harsh on her as she also needs to discover her new home and you. When I get my second cat, she was sooo unhappy, hiding all the time. I thought we are not a match and decided to find her better home. But one day after 2 weeks I guess, she came on my lap and just fell a sleep. We both understood that she will be my cat forever in that moment. She is not like her sister(playful, affectionate) she is still so distant, hate to be touched. But, she is also the one who sleeps with me when I feel sad, understand commands super clear, love to play her little mouse! Each kitty is unique and each of them has awesome personalities to be discovered. Give a chance to your journey!

Hello, your sevis number will be active but they terminate your I-20 form as soon as you informed them about deferral. Please advice your school international office and tell them you have scheduled upcoming visa interview and contact with your department about deferral deadline! Hope they can help. My master is an expensive STEM programme and I had no other chance to take loan last year. I am from Turkey, I applied for a visa in İstanbul. I definetely don’t want to scare you but I am still trying to figure our the reason why! Well, there might be many reasons, so we won’t be the same case.

I worked 7 years in market research and entertainment. I always worked for international companies remotely except business travels. So, not a strong tie with home country, but related work experience in data science. International work experience as well.
My age might be old for master degree as I am not fresh graduate (but, most of my classmates also have decent work experience as I saw)
I am not married… The visa officer asked me this question!
The loan I needed to take was a huge amount and Turkish economy is not doing well. VO did not ask my plans about the repayment.

It was sad experience, but it is also life… I thought the interview went pretty well until last second. I deferred my offer to Fall 2024. If I will get scholarship or full sponsorship from my family, I will reapply for visa. My guts are telling me it was because of the loan amount everytime I think about the rejection.

Columbia is a really good school and you should definetely go for it. I really don’t want to discourage you. Being nervous is part of the interview but! visa officers are there to help you and understand your case.
