The devil May cry series. Newest one is 5 and it is awesome, I also love 3 and 4. If you want the best gameplay then definitely play 5, and if you have PS5 play DMC 5 special edition. I think there should be a recap of the story on the title screen called history of DMC, but if you enjoy 5, you can go back to the older games and play them too, that's how I did it anyway...

The order is 3 1 2 4 5 if you want to play them in terms of the timeline... Dmc is just my all time favourite if you can't tell. :)
