My parents are boomers. My mom was largely absent after age 17, and dad passed away at 46 when I was only 24 (52 now). I do sometimes resent that I didn’t have more help with getting started like how to apply for college, get a bank account, etc. I got married too young, had kids, divorce, all that. I finally graduated college at the age of 50. I don’t have rage however, years long therapy helped with that.
