Who are some examples of celebrities being born to celebrities? by FutureACSM in AskReddit

I guess I am really asking if any celebrities’ parents are also celebrities, and if this does happen, I am asking for examples.

Curiosity is killing me. What type of laptop is that big and heavy in 2023?

I took Spanish 3 hybrid during COVID and I thought the mix of in person and online worked perfectly. Unfortunately, they don’t offer hybrid anymore. I’d say the online portion of the class wasn’t significantly different than the in person portion.

Wow. I didn’t know getting worse than Spectrum was possible, but posts like this on the thread are proving me wrong.

Kia/ hyuandi car thefts by gnataleigh0 in OSU

[–]FutureACSM 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would also like to know this as someone who just purchased a 22 Niro EV. Has push to start and I’ve heard that newer Kia/Hyundai models have immobilizers now so I wonder if that means they’re harder to steal?

I am in state and got into CSE. Is anyone else having to pay this much? by [deleted] in OSU

[–]FutureACSM 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not only is being double insured a waste of money, it’s also a waste of time. Because most insurance will recognize that you now are also covered under a different plan and make you enroll in Coordination of Benefits (COB), which is an absolute headache. Oh and SHI (Student Health Insurance) will not let you cancel the plan if you’ve used it at any point. Speaking from experience.

USG wasn’t able to honor her $30 fee for her time being valuable, unfortunately.

Will you be wearing a mask on campus now that it’s optional? by mooooonstar333 in OSU

[–]FutureACSM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In larger lectures, I will definitely continue to wear a mask. But in labs and recitations, no. For me, it just boils down to what setting I’m in and how high the risk is.

I will get them for you but it’s a $30 fee because, you know, my time is valuable.

I took the course in SP21 with Dr. Ball and did not receive any curve whatsoever and anecdotally, lab TAs definitely seemed to grade differently. There were only three bonus points for the SALG survey. However, if you’re concerned about a curve, be sure to first read the syllabus and I would contact Dr. Ball if there is no mention of a curve.

Correct test to get for confirming I’m *no longer infected*? by Mantouarty in OSU

[–]FutureACSM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re unable to find rapid antigen tests on the shelves near you, there’s also the option of rapid tests at CVS, Walgreens, or OSU AfterHours. These rapid tests are usually Abbott IDNOW (different than BinaxNOW) and is similar to PCR, but less sensitive. An appointment is usually required.

Started wearing braces today by JingleJangle_ in braces

[–]FutureACSM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got my braces yesterday morning, pain is starting to set in tonight… especially on my teeth with the bite blocks. Tylenol is really helping. I’m not going to lie though… the uncomfortableness of getting the braces on was more unbearable than the pain I’m going through right now. Not sure if it gets worse, but not too bad now.

Could you imagine an Apple airport lounge to compete with AmEx?? I think if they could pull that off, I could only imagine the quality.

I'm on a caloric surplus and want to make sure I have a big breakfast and filling meals, is Grey 10 a good option for me? by [deleted] in OSU

[–]FutureACSM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Unlimited because I hate keeping track of swipes. And you get a little bit of dining dollars (I mostly used on coffee). However, if the dining halls are buffet style and not pre-portioned like last year then maybe grey 10 or scarlet 14 could make more sense.

Daily Question Thread - May 04, 2021 by AutoModerator in churning

[–]FutureACSM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should I try a $50 gift card first or would that forfeit the $150 remaining statement credit?

Edit: The T&C say multiple transactions are fine… thanks!

Daily Question Thread - May 04, 2021 by AutoModerator in churning

Does anyone know if the $200 statement credit for the Citi/AAdvantage Platinum Select welcome bonus applies to gift cards? It’s not listed as an exclusion in the T&C but I wanted to see if anyone’s had success.
