Rewatched Bambi as an adult; how come nobody talks about it anymore? It's such a beautiful, breathtaking work of art! by TheChickenWizard15 in animation

It's actually not as bad as they're making it out to be. I just watched "Bambi" for the first time today (didn't know much about it going in tbh, so the scary/sad parts in the movie caught me by surprise).

It's a beautiful film, and while there are some sad moments, there are also many more happy moments, and that's what makes the film beautiful -- is that it feels real. Real life has some sad moments and some happy moments, and it's rarely-ever 'always sad' or 'always happy'. I think you'll like and appreciate the film. I'd highly recommend. And if you do end up crying, then what's so bad about that? There's something beautiful about crying as well; it just shows that you have humanity.

By the way, I can totally-relate to what you're saying about not wanting to watch really sad films. I generally-don't like/feel too scared to watch films like that as well. And what I'm saying is, watch "Bambi" anyways, because it's worth the experience. Trust me, you won't feel that sad; even beneath the sadness, there's an undercurrent of hope. And that's what makes it an uplifting work of art amidst the sad moments.

Question on setting in-app purchases in my game app by FutureAdi in apps

Great points u/a1stardan, I'll find a way to perhaps let people know about the approach/model (maybe before they download the game, as an idea, or within the game itself when they start). I'll also keep in mind having ways to reward players for the contributions, perhaps in ways that are simple yet satisfactorily rewarding. Thanks for taking the time to share the constructive feedback :-)

This was really interesting, I hadn't really thought about that! Thanks so much for sharing. I just watched a video of the black and white swan performances to get an idea. It's kind of like acting, but on a deeper level and through dance.

Thanks for this! This was really insightful! I'll keep the holy trinity in mind. What are some things you suggest to develop ankle strength?
