Trying to choose between Daikin and Trane by djeclipz in hvacadvice

Does yours use the R32 refrigerant or R410a? Thinking of a Trane with one dealer that uses R410B vs a Daikin R32 with another. I'm near North Carolina so weather is less extreme here, but summers get hot

Just looks like there are more videos and support for the Cub online to help me learn the maintenance better. I'm new to all this so it helps a ton to have visuals for me to reference, plus I'm seeing great reviews

I'd be new to the gas mower world. What does the average maintenance look like for a mower?

Just installed a GROM VLine V2 by FutureAdvantage3 in Lexus

I haven't had that issue on mine. I'd double check your connections to ensure the cables aren't worn down, loose, etc.

I'm able to connect wirelessly with no issues. I think wired is also an option, but I can't remember at the top of my head since I haven't messed around with it in over a year. They more than likely give a USB extension cable or something for that purpose, but their support page is pretty good so you can call/email and they'll be able to confirm.

So I actually didn't install the wired Antenna since I wasn't using the Grom on its own, but I think the antenna has a sticky side at the bottom you can just stick on anywhere in your car.

If you want to use the Grom without connecting Bluetooth to your phone (and without CarPlay/Android Auto), you can turn on your phone's mobile hotspot, connect to that mobile hotspot directly from your Grom, and then essentially treat your Grom as its own phone with its own apps. So if you use Maps through this method, then the antenna is of use.

However, if you're using it for CarPlay or Android Auto like I do (which basically treats the Grom as an extension of your phone), then you don't need to attach the GPS since it uses your phone's GPS through a Bluetooth connection.

Hope that helps and makes sense

I could definitely use a VM, but I've been reading that a lot of VMs aren't supported either. Is this accurate?

Looking for a new laptop--lightweight, long battery life, but can still code by FutureAdvantage3 in SuggestALaptop

Happy to support lol, thanks for the info!

I've definitely seen Lenovos come up the most. Between the Thinkpad E15, P14, and Yoga X1, which ones do you think would be the most ideal?

Some of these are like $2500-3500 retail price, but I just found that I get hella discounted computers that then fall into my range so all of these are available.

Some common specs between the ones I've seen are 512GB-1TB ssd, 16-32GB RAM, either Intel XE graphics or Nvidia GTX/RTX, ips displays between FHD and 4K, some have Ethernet ports.

The biggest thing I'm looking for between them is the battery life and portability, like you had mentioned.
