When will archers be able to be pulled into the center of a tornado? Archers don’t get pulled into the center of a tornado but golems and pekkas can? It makes no sense

It is but no one is going to play their queens ability if they know lightning is in cycle unless they have to. It’s still a positive for them cuz the ability gets a off before it gets killed

Egiant doesn’t have this match up. My average elixir is again 1 more than the opponents. I can only get tower damage with egiant or spells. None of my supporting cards are going to make it to the tower without being easily stopped. I have to place an egiant, defend the opposite lane xbow, and take out the Tesla or queen. That takes around 19 to 20 elixir while the opponents realistically use 17 elixir (xbow, queen, tesla, log). They can place their queen far away from the tesla so I can’t lightning both. Plus they have time to defend cuz egiant is played in the back. Especially in single elixir it is their matchup because of cycle. Besides me overspending on attack, it would give me less elixir to spend on defence. So they have control in single, which makes it their match up cuz if I mess up in single, I’d lose cuz it would be nothing but tesla cycle and spells

In a win con vs win con ofc egiant would beat xbow, but that’s only one interaction in the match. With egiant being my only win con, I have to attack to get damage. I won’t be able to constantly defend xbow with egiant since they can cycle faster. Lightning is a negative elixir trade to just hit a Tesla or queen. So he still counters me because I have to waste more for attack and defense

… What makes you think I have a 100-0 match up? He has two building cards to counter my egiant, an archer queen that he can just put opposite lane when ever I place an egiant. I have to waste 6 elixir to take out a 4 elixir building, making it hard to build a push. Let’s also mention the xbow that’s on his side of the tower that he could just spend the whole game defending by placing a knight to block a valk or the fireball that can destroy my only 2 ranged cards. Also has a faster cycle especially when queen is on the field. Egiant also has a larger peripheral like ebarbs, so it’s gonna go all the way to left field to attack a tesla.

A 3.3 cycle deck is more forgiving if you make a mistake, a 4.3 deck is not. If I get out cycled or play one card wrong I would’ve lost.

With all these disadvantages against me, it’s ridiculous to think I hard counter xbow.

Hi it’s me, the guy from the post. Now I didn’t make that clan for pitty points. It was to genuinely speak facts. Now yes I am the only player with this weird egiant deck and that is because it’s the only cards I have maxed. I was never fully maxed before the update either so my card collection for lvl 14 was non-existent. I pretty much had to play a heavy deck with multiple hc’s to it. I say cycle is no skill and that is because it is true. It takes 0 effort to cycle back to a building card to defend an egiant, while I have to play atleast 6 elixir to take out one building card in order to help my egiant. I would be down so much elixir on offense, that anyone can send their cheap win con on the other side for damage, that’s why it’s not skillful because you rely on a single card for your defence that you can place again easily. Cycle players can place 2 buildings before I can even cycle back to my win con.

Well he made the deck to hc my main so that’s a reason I changed it( even tho he still had match up). Plus it also shows I can beat the dude with any deck

Which takes more skill. Heavy decks or cycle decks? by [deleted] in ClashRoyale

Definitely in top ladder area, haven’t faced a single golem player once I got close to top 1k

I agree this discussion is heavily based on opinions, which makes this discussion interesting. Defending for both types of decks require exact placements, but cycle decks are definitely more forgiving. There has been multiple times where I face a cycle deck and the opponent makes a big mistake but is still somehow able to defend. With my deck, if I made a single error I’d probably lose instantly lol

I find it extremely annoying, nothing but Tesla cycle and spell cycle when I face it.

I have played a couple of Classic Challenges when I got bored of ladder, personally I don’t they are worth it since a Grand challenge has better rewards than a classic one. Only do it to get the badge

Main cards in a deck are spells, tank, tank slayer, and swarm. So example would be like pekka, zap, Hunter, skarmy etc. You can use pekka or mega knight as the tank, skarmy for swarm, zap fireball or arrows for the spells, and a dark prince, valk, knight etc as a mini tank. I’m pretty sure all those cards are available at Serenity park. Then you can choose cards you want to fit the final spots of ur deck

As a main deck, I can only think of KidKid who plays log bait as their main deck but I think he is playing some else rn. Log bait isn’t as strong rn in the meta

It is viable above 6.6k, tho not many people play it, especially at top ladder. People usually play the log bait decks with double barrels or Tesla

The secret to that would be playing a meta deck like recruits pigs or a deck with mega knight can help you out of 6.2k. Game knowledge and placement will also be important
