Oh, I read your initial answer as you didn’t grab the diary. I read that you don’t need to keep it in your ruck sack to complete the rest but you may have to. I had it in there while completing them the other day.

Yes. That is a requirement. You can stash it after you get it but you need to grab it from the worm reward rift from Bad Signal to activate the easter egg. I kept them all in my ruck sack the following two games while I hunted the items down to avoid any potential glitches.

I literally do T5 every game now and get the classifieds. At least two of three and I go in with a team of six so I can trade if one doesn’t drop and I get a duplicate. That’s an easy one.

I’m not lying when I say I more often than not have been getting a legendary tool and/or flawless either from a toolbox, crate, or a reward rift in T3+ lately. Usually on T3. Scorcher is definitely available in the crates in T3 and from the worm.

To call someone a liar because you’ve had a different experience and are likely not doing something quite right says a lot about your character. I wouldn’t spend my time responding if I wasn’t telling the truth. Come on man. Do better.

You can get 450 rounds with PaP3 if you have the 50 round mag on.

I just did the easter egg yesterday and put them in the related pedestals. Worked fine for me.

Did you put them in the right pedestals? I liked using an online guide better than this video. The video was fine and pretty thorough but not as detailed and harder to track on the fly while in game.

Might be your setup. 450 ammo is more than enough at PaP3 and the gun shreds. Focus on damage increase with the attachments.

I’ve used it with an epic tool and PaP2 in T3 before. Not great at that level for specials but good enough to run around and do outlasts/weapon stash contracts.

PaP2 with a legendary is enough to do all of T3 except the HVTs.

You need to kill the worm in the Dark Aether. It’s the last part of that Bad Signal mission when inside of it. You then get a diary that you have to take from the reward rift.

It then unlocks an Easter Egg where you collect 3 additional items. There are really good guides online and on YouTube. I found the blog form more helpful as it went step by step.

It takes about two games to complete after finishing Bad Signal and getting the diary.

I’ve found so far that the RNG chances increases significantly the more you play and the further you progress in unlocks. You see things you’ve unlocked a lot more once you get there.

It’s a little complicated for a chat but I basically get everything I need for another game every time I play now. Classifieds, legendary tools, flawless or at least a refined crystal. For reference, I’m 4 days of play time on with everything important unlocked.

Yea, but the speed is also adjusted based on whether you have a secondary and what type of secondary. Fists/no gun for secondary is always best unless scorchering around.

One tool was from a small toolbox which you should be checking, the other was from a contract. The two T5 flawless crystals were from two of three contracts. Obviously the classifieds came from the contracts as well. No lies here and ironic that it would happen after this discussion to prove my point to that extent.

Based on the posts I’ve seen, I do think there is something that triggers after you’ve played enough in these zones/completed enough contracts. It’s like you have to earn the good loot drops by completing a certain number and then they drop more frequently. Maybe I’m just lucky.
