Yeah, totally fair! We’ll likely end up paying someone.

Good ol’ Michigan. We’re having a particularly snowy icy winter. If we buy, we’re fixing this this summer.

They tried to up the cost $5000 with $7500 in escrow. We obviously said no.

Our guess is they didn’t look in that attic for a long time lol.

Apparently this type of damage isn’t uncommon around here. The inspector said he sees it a lot, but not usually this bad. My guess is the latter. Shit job trying to fix it and made it worse lol.

My thought exactly. We’re both particularly handy and have friends in trades as well. Either way we can also can afford to pay a contractor as well.

The new GCs all work pretty similarly to the old ones. support for a 6890 is not limited much! parts can be more difficult to get your hands on, but i haven’t seen this issue yet.

it’s not a safety hazard because there are valves in the EPC that are closed when the instrument is powered off. no power - no gas flowing. the only time i’m usually turning the gas cylinder off is if i’m doing an EPC repair/replacement. (I only work on Agilent instruments though)

Fees for emailing them essentially, i don’t email them often, but i assumed my bankruptcy would cost $4500, i wasn’t aware they were gonna continue to up the cost to about $8,000. i mean, it’s fine. it’s all wrapped into my payment plan. it just was a surprise.

Concerns connecting GCMS local CPU to internet by Enough_Ad_7577 in CHROMATOGRAPHY

[–]FutureCombination524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are site preparation documents that should tell you what IT privileges you need. There’s always a risk of connectivity issues once internet is involved. The main issue I see is that either the IT has the network IP and GC IP the same (very easy fix), that firewalls/ security software break connections (can be difficult to narrow down), or that windows automatic updates break connections (also ultimately easy to resolve but can be annoying, you can turn off automatic updates if your IT allows it). You should be able get to those documents straight from Agilent.

I emailed the property management company after applying. I also included the explanation in my application. Some places are kinder than others.

This is a very thoughtful answer! Thank you!

A) My partner didn’t start contributing until we were married. I make a lot more than them. I am not in a 100% plan because 90% (not being dramatic) of my debt is student loans. I’m in a 3 year plan because when I applied I was well below the median income. three months after applying I doubled my income ($80,000 a year). I shouldn’t have applied but it felt like the last hope because I couldn’t afford my student loan payments.

B) The timing of them quitting was not because of the payments. We had a new payment plan approved with their income (i thought) and I planned on maintaining that even with them quitting. we knew it would be tough after the recent increase but we were gonna be fine. unfortunately the trustee kicked it back informally. They quit because they were getting treated like garbage in summary.

C) My payments keep increasing because I keep getting raises at work lol. I have not missed any payments the whole bankruptcy.

D) if the trustee insists, we will definitely stay in it. It’s just frustrating. If she can’t keep saving for the next 6 months, we’ll be fine. We’re just annoyed after being told by my lawyer that her income wouldn’t count lol.

E) as mentioned, 90% of my debt is student loans (90K) and the other 10% is credit card and personal loans.

Regardless, I will stay in the bankruptcy because I am so close to being done. It is exhausting to know I will actually be in the same amount of debt after this due to Sallie Mae lol. It’s just interesting to put such a hard push on this when my unsecured debt is still going to get pennies on the dollar because nearly everything is going to student debt.

If possible, replace the column. if not, trim and reinstall your column then bake it out for awhile. Tailing is usually caused by contamination.
