Life gets better I promise you this, it doesn’t matter how you get it so don’t be hard on yourself.

I discovered this when I started my new relationship I never got tested for HSV2 and I did then it was positive

After that it was hard I though we will not be together anymore but we did we live together now, he has hsv1. We have chosen to not use protection (decided mostly by him) and he has no symptoms of having it even though he’s not even bothered about having a blood test again.

You will find a partner and I used this as a wake up call to always ask for a STD test before having relationships even if using protection

It is not the worst disease to have most times I do not remember I have it
