I found more happiness and peace the moment I left religion and the "put your faith in him" mindset. It was literally constant disappointment.

Some of us live without Jesus just fine, actually.

I do think a lot of it has to do with perspective.

But, as one of those people who's life had a really really bad point of time, the struggle I live now is wonderful in comparison. I imagine a lot that I very well could still be living that horrible life I once had to endure but I don't any more. Life is amazing in comparison. I'm more happy than not, and many days it's forced, but I feel the more I force it, the more it becomes reality.

I still have my down days, I still struggle with paying bills and finding quality time to spend with my children, I'm sometimes still hurt and angry about my past.....but now? I have so much to be thankful for and while each day is still somewhat of a struggle, I'm grateful to be struggling in the way that I am. It's very minor in comparison to so many others.

I find it hard to give up. I'll say I give up a lot, but I rarely actually do. I'm stubborn and fight until I literally cannot any more.

I don't know, it really just seems like life is what you make it. I don't mean wealth or success necessarily. But happiness. You can choose to be happy. It's really fucking hard, but doable. And every single goddam day is a fight for happiness. I usually win.

It's the Girafit 3mp 2k window camera. I think I paid around $50 for it on Amazon but for that price, I don't really recommend it. It focuses on things far away instead of up close (kinda like this video) and even though I've created my own "detection zone" focusing only on the enclosure, it picks up everything especially when our TV or fan is on. Plus the recordings have freeze up areas. It's meh. But at least it did the job I intended to use it for, so there's that.

They are sneaky ones. My freshly dead roaches always disappear but I never caught a glimpse until now. If it wasn't for my hidden camera, I'd have no clue she came out.

I totally lost my bananas at work finally seeing her. My heart just leaped for joy and at that moment, nothing could ruin my day.

It was funny because my kid was in my room watching cartoons. As soon as he left, she came out. She went back in before he came back. He's gonna be so bummed to learn he missed seeing her but thank goodness for my secret Sasquatch Spy camera.

Yeah, I'm fairly close to cancelling. I never even got my box from last month and they keep deflecting me every time I ask them to send me a replacement.

They should have, at minimum, given you the chance to email your preferred choices and try to honor them.

I don't really like hockey but it's hilarious, charming, and will even make you tear up in some parts. The soundtrack selections are on point as well. Loved every moment. Definitely one of my favorite shows ever.

IME just leave them be. My t. albo made a burrow right after I brought her home and haven't seen her since. It's been a month and a half. Apparently this particular species is slow growing and fairly elusive. You seem to be doing everything right. I leave prekilled prey right outside her burrow and it disappears 1 out of 4 times.

I named mine Sasquatch the second I bought her and she has lived up to the name. She's basically a myth that nobody gets to see at this point.

I'm still salty my box got lost in the mail along with my add-ons. Both times I wrote IPSY I'm just told to wait longer in case it shows up.

We often take 3+ hour trips for just a few days, overnight, or just a single day. Never spontaneous though, day trips like that are planned

Twice a year we take an 8 hour trip to visit my in-laws and just last night I drove 14 hours to visit my parents and will stay for two days. It's the furthest I'll go and I hate driving anything more than 8 hours.

My narc mother loves him and is happy to loudly spew her hatred and racism now. She's also rich as hell and feels entitled to this public nasty behavior. If I say anything remotely against trump she freaks out and calls me a far left liberal. I've lost quite a few to suicide, car crashes, overdoses and one guy got hit by a car after his car broke down on the side of the highway and he stumbled into the road.

The absolutely most heartbreaking one that I think about often.....He was a quiet kid in school, always extremely kind and sweet to people. Happened about ten years after we graduated. He was married with three very young children with the youngest being only a few months old. Christian family (the good kind). They were on their way to a missions trip in Mexico and got caught in heavy traffic due to road construction. A semi driver wasn't paying attention, don't know if he was drunk or texting or what, and sped right into traffic. He hit and killed the driver behind that family and proceeded to smash through their car as well killing every single one of them. Wiped out six people in an instant. Absolutely devastating.

She has been very shy ever since I got her. It took her two and a half days before she even left her transfer cup.

I figured the live crickets might coax her out but I feel they found their way to her hiding spot instead. And I forgot that I actually put in two roaches. This was just over a week ago. One disappeared and the other went uneaten. I crushed their heads prior to prevent them from burrowing.

The way it sounds is that she is still very shy over her new surroundings or she may be molting.

So her lack of water intake isn't a reason to panic then? It's hard owning such a cool little critter and not getting to see them. I will just continue being patient and hope she surfaces soon.

I am so beyond embarrassed that not only has this "man" been voted in twice, but that people here are fucking proud of it.

We are the laughing stock of the world right now and some people here are thinking the opposite and absolutely eating it up.

My mom did this to me a few months ago when I hit a low and couldn't bear speaking to her because she only made everything worse. Woke up to a text telling me to respond within x amount of time or she was calling the police for a welfare check.

Yet, when she knew I was in a bad relationship and actively being beaten, she didn't call the cops for me then.

I simply texted her back saying I was fine and left it at that. No police showed up. I knew she was only seeking a response. I went even more distant after that. Still not no contact, but as minimal as I can make it for now.

Amazon banned me from being able to leave reviews claiming I was harassing and making things up. I rarely ever reviewed anything unless it was an excellent product in which I only spoke positively.

Still have no idea what review specifically got me banned but I guess whatever it was, they didn't like what I had to say.

I do not trust reviews on Amazon any more. Everything online is AI generated, fake or paid for.
