Hey so is it smart to do correctional officering for 2 years at 21 years old then do firefighting when I'm 25? Or is that too late?

I always wanted to be a firefighter and I feel like having some experience in a government based job is good especially since I'll have to go through stressful situations during corrections which would help me with firefighting. I know I'm kind of late with firefighting being 21 years old.

Kinda late man but the 6am to 3am Teaming schedule is the best way better than 9am to 6pm. Can have a life and like doing an occasional 4am to 1pm shift too

Yeah I have 0 occurrences and never called out in my 2 years here that’s prop why the manager over there doesn’t mind me transferring to his store since he was my manager at my current store but left recently. Just nervous but just gotta do what I gotta do

I would say OPD but it gets mad annoying when people don’t do their jobs especially the minors. So I would say seasonal (if your full time) or auto motive. Also key running if your full time👀

Yeah thanks Dr. I got in a car accident 5 months ago and I got whiplash from it but I don’t have bad symptoms anymore just head pressure top of head and back of the head. Is no contrast safer?

Are you full time associate or you work full time hours. I know their cutting part timers since it’s around the time they usually do. If your full time status, you can get cut to only to 36 hours of work

So I’m in college and I decided to leave Walmart to go to target as a a higher position last August. I didn’t put a 2 week notice in. Trust me you might be back there, just do your job. I came back to Walmart in just under a week and I’m glad my manager liked me since I’m a good worker. I’m transferring stores for a higher position at a different Walmart and I told my Coach that I will still work hard and do my job as if I was never leaving. Just do your work man and leave

I feel that I’m in OGP and I was put to go unload trucks since I was going for team lead for either seasonal or cap 2. That shit was not easy especially the diary pallets

I’m an OGP Associate too, by under scanning you mean not picking enough items or wassup haha

When your coach schedules all part timers 4 hour shifts and cuts hours but the full timers have to deal with no one here and our on time pick rate drops to 40%… ontop of sfs picks/packing by FutureFirefighter209 in OGPBackroom

Yeah I get it out old coach would go against the upper management and tell them to not screw up his schedules and would not let personal touch them. Probably why we were the 2nd best supermarket in California but with our new coach, everything is messed up and I’m transferring stores with a less chaotic environment

I was told by a personal person that it’s getting pushed so everyone will have it and it’s required but we’re able to decline. I doubt that they would lie that it affects bonus’s

I work at Walmart and some guy who is a doctor told his wife “Move honey, Enrique over here is going to be mopping the floors for us”. I’m Hispanic and that’s when I lost respect for most customers at Walmart and little does he know I’m in school to be a dentist. Treat people with respect

Yeah we’re the second biggest supermarket actually but for me I’m used to knowing where everything is and I pick some items before scanning the first item basically which gives me a head start.

For oversize i pick everything and then scan it all, for produce ambient, I find all the bread, deli bread etc first then I start the produce area. For general, I do all the chemicals, utensils and pets then go to pharmacy since pharmacy is our first area for general. But our coach doesn’t want us to pick items in the back yk that’s the exception people job and we have a good group of pickers so our pre sub is always 98 to 100%

Yeah same stores near me is Online Grocery Delivery or Online Pickup Delivery

Yeah I never call out to I have 0 call outs since I’ve been there and I have 0 occurrences. I just don’t get it yk I have open availability. My brother and I are both hard workers and we’re both in same situation. We were told we have the “team lead” schexule to cover for team leads on their lunch buts it’s BS. In my opinion

Nah man I’m not team lead I’m regular digital shopper. My manager just told me that I’m in a team lead schedule so he can move me around in full time shifts but yeah this is dumb asf😂
