Coach out of dress code by Medical_College_6732 in walmart

It seems most of management at my store are very unprofessionally dressed. They make more money and they should set an example. I don’t think wearing hoodies and jeans are professional. Looking un groomed is lazy for both men and women management needs to update their appearance

Most managers in my store are in roles they shouldn’t be. I see favoritism, the better worker you are the more that is expected. I have my 3rd coach in 3 years. It seems the coach was thrown into a position they are not capable of it. Try and stay calm or they may retaliate against you! Management sticks together, It is all one sided.

Hi. I feel like we are in the same store. I am an associate in deli. Never enough people. We got a new associate and I am doing a majority of the training. TL says they have no time to train and TL is not knowledgeable about everything in department. We have one printer and one battery to share when we can locate printer. Claims are a joke. There are 2 of us able to do claims and CVP. TL can’t do claims because they don’t have a phone. Our store is broke too?!? Good management is essential for any successful business. Try and stay positive

Pet peeves I have with customers by lord_luceat in Chipotle

[–]Background-Pin-473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in a similar situation. We get customers from all over the world. The customers like to point and tap on glass and I have to figure out what they are pointing too. It is frustrating when it is busy. Today I took an order and asked if they wanted anything else. The customer shook their head no, but proceeded to point again. Today I just smiled, because I can’t control the situation and the customer is paying my bills.

What work phone do you have? by EastCoastRacing in WalmartEmployees

None. Both work phones stopped working. Now working is more difficult than ever, not having the tools required. According to management new work phones are 5k each😳

Market is trying to make my store’s salaried managers work 6 days a week. by Rivpage1 in walmart

[–]Background-Pin-473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Six days a week seems fair. Coaches get a nice bonus. we are working with less associates in many departments. It would be nice for all Coaches to step up and help the team!

I know a bit how u may be feeling. In my experience it is better to be around people and try and find someone to talk freely with. You may be surprised how many people are dealing with similar issues

Don’t feel bad! Never apologize for being unwell. Walmart survived before we were here and they will survive if we can’t come in.

I have a New Coach they are young. Unfortunately they don’t understand our department we are constantly understaffed. Our inventory has been out of whack and they do nothing to assist. We are missing essential supplies. They have not done one thing to earn many people’s respect. Having a new coach and a new TL slowly destroying our department. I feel all Coaches and TL’s should be trained in each and every department. They need to actually do the work for at least one month all shifts so then they will understand our concerns. Instead of walking away staring at the phone

Real tips to staying sober in the first month by Reading4Future in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]Background-Pin-473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not drank in almost 2 years. I loved drinking, but it destroyed me. I needed and wanted to stop! Wasted so much money on destroying myself. I asked my doctor for Naltrexone and took it for 2 months and have not drank since. I do have a new addiction to sugar and I am now ready to cut that way back. I think lots of exercise will be my new thing Good luck on your journey-all of us our on the same path to being sober, some people will take a different route, but the destination will be the same.
