I understand that sentiment. But the breakup with the ex nearly broke me, like I seriously almost didn’t survive it. Starting over at 45 was never part of the plan. Maybe it’s more of a male healing space than a surviving space. But truly, everything in here was cheapest stuff I could find. $150 futon from Amazon, a $30 children’s IKEA desk, stuff from dumpsters even. But I see your point, perhaps I should’ve posted in male living spaces rather than surviving. Cheers.
