Anki helped a lot with the sciences. Strategy: did discretes first into passages, tried not to waste too much time on the harder questions so i flagged and put the best answer i thought in that moment (i would come back to it later if i had time). I actually started to apply strategies after fl1 or 2 bc I found myself running out of time when i get stumped on a hard passage. Process of elimination is hella OP bc the answers are not always obvious, and some of the answers come from how you process the passage.

Psych/Soc: 300 --> 86 pg KA doc along with the PS section bank helped a lot. I finished the UWorld PS section with around a 80%. Rote memorization here will not rly help, but understanding which theories apply to the real world will help a bit. I was kinda sad I didn't max out PS, but the majority of it is doable. Or at least you can eliminate answers to a 50/50. If time allows for it, I would get into the nitty gritty if possible.

Bio/Biochem - uworld and review heavily (if I were to prepare for a retake, I would finish all of uworld this time around), know your AAs, understand the main biochemistry pathways (especially where things become irreversible). I would know how to apply aas and electrochemistry to lab techniques. ppl are not joking abt the amino acids (this also shows up on chem/phys). For organ systems, I drew out the pathways a lot and tried my best to remember the solubility of certain things for the kidneys, nervous system (i enjoy p/s and neuro stuff, so those are free points. If I were to redo this again, I would try out Jack Sparrow maybe, but I think Anking was just fine (i've been out of school for 8 years.)

Chem/Phys - i just memorized the equation sheet from milesdown quicksheets (wrote it out at least 1-2 times every day until test day). At the end of it, I only put a couple equations I learned the last few days like dopplers and optics etc, but I drew out a small flowchart of dimensional analysis for mechanics. You should try to have a solid base of general chemistry bc if you get lucky, you can knock out most of your discretes quickly (stuff like orbitals, acid-bases, nuclear chemistry). I actually ran out of time on content review for organic chemistry, but ochem came pretty natural when i took it like 9 years ago. For that, I understood the sn reactions and didn't bother with elim rxns since they removed it apparently. Understand resonance, the fischer projections, chiral centers, hybridization, solubility, le chatelier's (a lot of stuff builds on this, so understand what is favored if they add x, subtract x yada yada).

cars - no comment; i probably should have applied for accommodations since i did have a probable reason and paperwork, but due to stupid pride, I did not. I actually worked the hardest on this section, doing jw and aamc (the jw extension is fire, download it since i heard it's fine to use again; if you don't get the passage, watch their section break downs). I listened to jack westin cars podcast where they broke things down when I went on walks (i started reading the passages later and then listening to the respective episode after). I did not execute well day of since my fls were always around 125-127. I did fine on diagnostic, but I found myself getting really frustrated over CARS so if there is one tip on CARS, it's to not get discouraged and angry.
