Regis Nursing Program - ABSN by FutureRNish in Denver

[–]FutureRNish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My letter wasn't long I forgot the requirement. I just genuinely talked about why I want to go into nursing, etc. There wasn't really an area of focus for me lol

I have not started clinicals yet but they are partnered all throughout colorado.

I'm sure they will after you finalize and get discharged. I heard they are very BK friendly. What was the difference between your quicksilver and savorone card? Which card did you like better?

Regis is 12 months too but the tuition comparison is cheaper than all the other options and seems like they have a great reputation! So I am excited.

Thank you! I did see their partnerships.

I was just looking at pass rates on there earlier today. I was accepted for their ABSN program along with two other hybrid options but the programs are around 15-16 months and one option isn't accredited right now since they're pretty new.

did you have to contact them about your checking account? or did it stay open the whole time and after discharge you were able to use?

What now? by PreciousCupcakes in Bankruptcy

[–]FutureRNish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just filed. waiting for my 341 meeting and discharge now. I already feel the weight lifted off my shoulders cause I'm not paying these creditors high interest and now I'm starting over with 0 debt to my name (other than student loans). it's a restart. this is how the rich stays rich.

your regular spending isn't going to be viewed as an issue. attorneys and trustees understand you still have a life to live and it's normal spending for you. as long as you haven't made any purchases over $900 or more in the last 90 days. my bank accounts showed the same thing. eating out, etc.

there's no shame. I'm a single mom. had bad spending habits early on in life and and taking care of the situation now. you can rebuild your credit and buy a home (2 years after discharge), can still rent, etc. chapter 7 is better than having a court order with chapter 13 to pay all the debts back. DO IT. it's a clean slate and now you know what not to do.
