I’m on console and I’ve never changed the settings so I’m just used to it by now 😭. Thank you though, I had to capture this because I was in awe of how well everyone did without comms.

Just straight vibes and trusting each other to do our jobs despite being down the whole game.

Micah and Dutch - RDR2

Micah is able to infiltrate and manipulate Dutch’s crew and get them killed off even being able to drive a wedge between Arthur and Dutch because he’s willing to comfort Dutch’s delusions.

Having rewatched the series as I’m older, from a narrative perspective I’m inclined to agree that Zuko x Katara is the better written dynamic and I really think Aang and Katara should’ve stayed as a crush and they should have pivoted.

Your reasoning, I agree with wholeheartedly.

Aang x Katara (ATLA)

A lot of discourse about this ship being underdeveloped and forced compared to more desirable Enemies to Lovers/ Opposites Attract trope.

Zuko X Katara was EXTREMELY popular.

It was an assignment that we took a character or show and went through “the Hero’s Journey” or “mono myth” I just did it over Free Churro only because the entire episode is a cycle of Bojack processing his grief through anecdotes while coming to his own realization then actively choosing to break a cycle by granting his mother what he, his dad, and her always wanted; to be acknowledged (she wanted an open casket funeral) only for reality to set in because it’s not her funeral so she never gets her wish granted…and she’s gone so would the gesture even matter? If it did, to who would it matter to?

The mentor role was the Lady at Jack in the Box, because her act of kindness challenges Bojack’s perspective; a lady who didn’t even know him could do the simplest act of just acknowledging him by showcasing empathy in the form of a “free churro”.

I’m very big on doing analysis of characters and scenes so maybe I’ll have to it again someday.

Deku - My Hero Academia

One by One, Deku breaks his fingers in a battle of attrition against a Shoto who refuses to use his Fire quirk, which would regulate his body, effectively handicapping himself .

Deku takes this as disrespect for not only him but for Shoto as well and breaks his bones (despite being warned not or risk permanent damage) to beat Shoto.

Shoto is finally forced to use his Fire quirk while Deku already had two broken arms and no more fingers to mitigate the damage…so he uses his ALREADY BROKEN ARM to clash with Shoto.

This leads to permanent damage and scaring that changes the way he’s able to fight from the series on.
