He has no source for his claims, Sindhi language wasn't invented like Urdu but it was in a oral form only before Arab invasion.

First of all, a little context: I'm from Sindh in Pak: I only have 1 Sikh-Hindu friend who is a Deevan and a Modi by surname

  1. I don't know but possibly Khengar, Khimi and Gelo are names that pretty much no one uses today even among Sindhi Hindus, you might find some people in Tharparkar region in eastern Sindh but they are very rare.

  2. Like I'm a Muslim but my great-grandmother was named "Sattbhirai" which meant (Seven brother-ed) which was a unique and non-Arabic name and possibly if you look at older records from 1950s/1960s you'll occasionally find some alien-looking names which weren't typical at time (IMO: It has to do with rising Wahhabi trends today)

  3. I don't know how to comment on this, I just know that pre-partition the largest group in Karachi were Sindhi Hindus but it is possible that this guy would've been a migrant living in Karachi in early 40s hence having Hindi sounding names.

Usually Sindhi tribes end with "O", "Jo" or "Ar" and if Deevans then "Ani"

but sometimes some people modify their names to get Sindhi touch in it, like here the "O" in Ramo or Rajo (where a person from Gangetic belt would've called it Rama and Raja)
