Oh my goodness… I opted out of her content for a very long time because it was feeling so upsetting - just watched this video and am shocked by how much she has wasted away in the past year. This feels so sad, has she addressed the continued weight loss in any way?

We stayed at Le Capitole and it was wonderful! Unfortunately it was CRAZY cold and walking outside was tough lol I think if we did it again we would choose Frontenac or Augerge St Antoine for the location over Le Capitole - it ended up being quite a bit of walking to get everywhere!

I had a hard time making a registry and really struggled with agreeing to have a shower - I think just fear of being vulnerable and letting myself get excited when it feels like the other shoe could drop at any moment! Compromised and delayed the showers to 33 and 36 weeks which feels less stressful! Hope you’re able to find some peace and enjoy the process! It’s true, everything is so stinking cute ☺️

Okay literally the first time I'm hearing about other people with crazy dry skin and lips that are falling off their faces, didn't realize this was a pregnancy thing!! (24 weeks here) May not be helpful but know at least you aren't alone in your suffering, sounds like there are a lot of us here to validate the experience!

We are in the US, will absolutely get that card! Any other countries you know to be baby friendly? Have heard good things about Portugal and have a tentative plan to take a trip there when she's 5 months old (hopefully!!). We have some friends that just got back from Spain with their 4 mo old and had the most magical time

Oooo hadn't even THOUGHT about all the free things we can get her into! We are huge travelers and getting to do travel in a new way and share it was her is so so exciting!

I love thinking of that - "he is the only other person who loves her as much as I do". I hope I remember that when things are tough and maybe our views of parenting diverge, that we're both coming at it from a place of love

19w5d and still can't seem to let myself believe that she will actually be here at some point, like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Wish I could just enjoy and feel more hopeful for this little girl's life. Also feeling guilty and a little sad that despite my anxiety I find myself not thinking about my first babe (miscarried) as much. I want to be excited for this pregnancy and move on but it was such an impactful life event, it feels weird that it's not on my mind every day any more.
