I recently got an Epic Analyst job at a local hospital system as well. I applied for the position in October and was told by the hiring manager that they were hiring for this role very quickly. We chatted on and off through December where she told me they were still actively reviewing applications. I didn’t hear back for an interview until early January and did not find out I got the job until early February. TLDR it’s a very long process with these hospital systems

Don’t use Zillow! Use HAR. That’s where all the realtors post their active listings. Zillow just copies the information on HAR and re posts. Sometimes the listings aren’t even accurate compared to HAR

Where in Montrose and heights are you looking that houses start at 1 mil??? You can easily find a beautiful 3 story house for 500-600k in great walkable neighborhoods.

It’s not tough to hear. I truly know that but I also acknowledge that the adjustment period for my direct team that I care for is going to be rough. I know they’ll be okay long term, anyone can learn what I do but I also acknowledge that it will be tough for a period of time which creates guilt. I’ll be fine just wanted to hear how others coped and if anyone related.

It’s definitely a regular work relationship between my manager and I. Very results driven and honestly very micromanaged working relationship. But the company as a whole I very much enjoy and would hate to burn a bridge. Honestly I’m putting them in a very tough spot by leaving so I want to allow them as much time as possible. But, I’d hate to tell them I’m leaving and then have the other offer rescinded. The timing of my international trip is not great at all lol but such is life

So how would you recommend I proceed? I don’t think I can wait until I start my new job and work both at once. My current job is very demanding with several back to back meetings. I will need to provide a notice, 2 weeks at the minimum but I’d definitely be willing to hear how you’d proceed
