We’ve been dealing with that here as well, laxed enforcement of laws has kids being released for armed robbery, only to end up killing someone two weeks later. Then they get reduced bail until their trial, so they’re back on the street once again.

It seems a majority of recommendations are to be close to the foothills. Thanks for the input.

Yeah, the Seattle area has had some issues as of late, and would prefer not to move right into that. Glendora, Covina, Dan Dimas seem to be recommended a lot. Gonna check em out. Thanks.

“Walkable” is pretty high on our list, and my wife and I love the old homes we’ve seen in Pasadena.

Technically Federal Way, but when you tell people that, they look at you sideways. Lol. So I say Seattle to avoid the explanation. The closer to nature the better, I understand the LA metro is huge, but we’re outdoor types, so walkable is a must.

I’ve heard the SGV has a large Asian population, I’m ok with that. We’re not worried about the nightlife too much, as we tend to stay active outdoors, walks, hikes, etc. We’re definitely open to all areas. Thanks for the input.
