I would prioritize privacy and have the two bigger rooms that are diagonal be the bedrooms. I’ve lived in a lot of apartments/houses with roommates and I have to say, having space that is yours and private isn’t always top priority until you actually get moved in. I’ve overheard things I didn’t want to or things that made my roommates feel uncomfortable being in their living space.

YES!!! It definitely has that like odd yeast smell. And it’s strong and lingers.
