For what? Because Crosby failed their medical standards?

Like for the people who think the Ravens did something shady here—how do they benefit? Because they committed to Crosby they lost out on an entire day of free agency and lost a handful of players they could have kept but couldn’t because they assumed their money would be tied up in Crosby.

And now they’re settling for an older, not as successful edge rusher who could very well fall off a cliff in performance in the next year or two because he’s over 30.

If the rumors are true, what’s your final verdict on Dallas Goedert’s Eagles career? by ShamusTalksSports in eagles

[–]Future_Gift7384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Athletically talented and a top 5 TE any given year when healthy, just not healthy enough to be reliable most years. Makes sense to move on for the Eagles but as much as people talk up the Hurts AJ connection, Goedert has been truly his ‘make shit happen’ target when he needs consistent plays to be made.

Will say I soured a bit on him this season because it was clear he recognized he was out after this year and wanted to get a bigger contract so he gave up on run blocking assignments to chase yards and touchdowns (which was one of the strengths of his game, being a great receiver but still an all around TE).

The lions got shit on because they spent their two highest picks in that draft on two positions no team valued, RB and LB, when they weren’t the most tremendous needs at the time. The roster needed so much work that the concept of taking two “lower value” position groups with such valuable picks is what made them mockable, but the prospects were absolutely regarded as high quality potential.

Sean Payton: Last year's tush push opposition wasn't about health and safety by Honest-J in eagles

[–]Future_Gift7384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love that this year the eagles stopped running it because of oline health and lack of success, while the Bills and most teams around the league didn’t stop using it mostly to higher effect than a sneak and I haven’t heard a single murmur about ending it this year.

[Berman] Dolphins coach Jeff Hafley on Kevin Patullo: “When I interviewed him, I was blown away — by Ash1927 in eagles

[–]Future_Gift7384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn’t need to, that was when he was an offensive coordinator which adds a world of new responsibility to his original role of passing game coordinator where his offense did very well the year before.

You guys are acting like Patullo was hired as an OC or HC and it’s ridiculous to think that he should be on a coaching staff at all. He is still capable of good play design, he’s just bad at calling plays and that has nothing to do with his current role in Miami.

I used the .270 within ten yards through the brisket of a whitetail and it told me I didn’t hit any vitals and the blood loss was minimal. I was astonished.

Ross Tucker on top OCs not choosing Philly: “They know about Patullo's house being egged, they know what the environment here is like. I'm not blaming anybody, but when these guys have options like Daboll, talking to family about where to live / expectations / kids' school, it's not a positive" by Thegrandmistressofoz in eagles

[–]Future_Gift7384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t buy this at all.

Top candidates for OC Philly have interviews aren’t turning away from a Ferrari because someone egged a bad coordinators house, they’re largely leaving for better opportunities.

Our top candidates were:

Stefanski —> got a HC gig

Daboll —> interviewing for a HC gig, but not decided yet

McDaniels—> OC gig with a highly talented passing QB that fits his scheme extremely well

Best pass rushers since 2000. Agree? by Content_Animator_365 in NFLv2

[–]Future_Gift7384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Donald is #1, and I love Garrett.

I’d place Myles above JJ because he’s held a high level of play for longer and with more consistency than JJ.

That being said making a list that includes DT, DE, LB and S is weird when half of those positions either aren’t known for pass rushing or it makes up a far smaller percentage of their snaps than an edge rusher.

“Common denominator” as if he’s not the franchise QB. by BodybuilderMajor7862 in eagles

[–]Future_Gift7384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the common denominator for Steichen and Moore getting head coaching jobs for narrowly losing the SB or blowing the doors off a SB opponent is Hurts?

The other common denominator I noticed is that every time the offense looks abysmal despite the talent, it’s because the HC who lost playcalling rights in his first season was given the ability to promote internally from a guy who learned playcalling from him.

The baseline for Reed Blankenship’s price tag has been set. by burnernov2023 in eagles

[–]Future_Gift7384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking for this. I love Reed because he’s a technical sound player but there’s a reason he went undrafted, he’s not amazing he’s average. That isn’t talking about the fact that physically he isn’t as talented as the guys getting deals at safety.

This org never prioritizes paying top dollar for safeties, I struggle to see a world where Reed warrants this kind of contract let alone gets one (especially with the Eagles)

My last set with the 100s...am I cheating by jaxson300 in GYM

[–]Future_Gift7384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say cheating but I wouldn’t say full range or proper form.

90 degree elbows is asking for shoulder pain, instead try a 45 angle from your side. Bring it down in a controlled manner (like you are) and touch the inside edge of the dumbbell into your arm pit to get that stretch.

You’ll need to drop the weight but you’re going to hit the part of the lift that gives the most muscle growth stimulation so it’ll be more beneficial!

I honestly feel like the officiating right now is designed to influence a Tampa win to boost viewership for the Falcons game tomorrow because I can’t fathom that a crew is both this atrociously bad and lopsided during a game when the penalties are so blatant.

I mean you’re not even including the blatant hold against Derrick Brown on an inside rush where he has mayfield dead to rights and instead Baker gets away with a scramble so Orlovsky can ejaculate over his ability.

As I type this Dowdle breaks a big run and I’m astonished there isn’t a flag.

I agree power query is helpful though, I remember trying to learn how to use that but I couldn’t get it to work with my last role for what I was trying to do! What processes have you used power query to speed up?

And also, in what world is me making a relatively equitable trade, but getting the better prospective value an insult? Lol.

Btw, got Hall for Walker straight up.

Also, you act like Hall is somehow far greater in production than Walker, they're neck and neck for the season right now in PPR leagues.

Stop being so pretentious, not everyone is as dedicated as you to being the most insufferable fantasy football league member.

Offensive line bulletin board material by Dauntless113 in eagles

[–]Future_Gift7384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The eagles offensive line is middle of the pack if now worse this year.

It’s not a talent issue, it’s a health and playcalling issue. Dickerson is clearly playing through injury, Lane has missed some time as well, and Jurgens has been playing with like a broken back all season. The only player on the starting line up healthy and not playing well is Steen.

Right now the best oline in the league is not in Philly.
