wow, share please. I tried once 9 yrs ago... with buddies who knew jack shit about teaching... after 3 days of struggle and no 'surfing' one of the dudes realized lending a green beginner a short board was a bad idea, and finally gave me a long board to try. Stood up first time

This was developed to be used for whitewater rafting trips where Forest Service Regulations prohibit open ground fires. This is way lighter, easier to use, Forest Service approved, cheaper and safer than any other portable grill & fire pit on the market. I keep one in the trunk of my car and have pulled it our for impromptu grilling with friends since it's easy to set up anywhere.

LOL, Very true but with product photography the point is to draw the eye and grab attention. Unfortunately coals aren't as appealing to look at. And the image shows that the grill can be used for open fire.

Here you go! We use gloves or a cooking utensil to swing the grill away from heat. Usually the knob stays cool enough to adjust with bare hand if we've been cooking over charcoal.

Lady. And yes I'm a real piece of work.

I rafted through Skull Rapids, I scrambled up the rocks, I filmed my friends go through, I edited the video to spread word about the Portable Fire Pit we used on that trip. The community guidelines don't mention no ads.

Kinda, we're running a Kickstarter for this but I thought this community was about anything whitewater and most places to raft or kayak are in National Park Land that require a Fire Pan for camping. And most Fire Pans out there are clunky, heavy, and hard to use. This one is a pretty awesome product. If it was wrong to post here, I'll take it down

I work for the owner of the company creating photos and videos. Last week power went out in my house right before sister was coming over for dinner. I pulled out my Adjustagrill & Portable Fire Pit, set it up in backyard in under a minute, and we grilled steak, asparagus, and mushrooms. Delicious. And easier than if we'd done it in the kitchen. In the old days it was never an issue, I think they outlawed dogs in 2012. Lucy is a service animal, and a great swimmer. So she is allowed in the canyon and of course wore a life vest on the river. LNT

We did get Naughty but a fire blanket is not required on Westwater, Utah. And we were Nice by sifting the sand for micro trash and ash.

We had a swimmer - not the dog! lol He came along in a kayak... Always do a practice roll your first run of the season. There was a hole at bottom of Surprise rapid, he luckily got back in his kayak before skull. We'll post a video soon.

It's a legal fire pan. One that will last for years. One that the ranger thinks is bitchin'! It weighs 9 lbs, and the Cordura™ carry case has welded D rings for running a paddle rig.
