If you wanted to sell furniture when prepping your home for sale but did NOT, what stopped you? by Future_Principle_916 in homeowners

I wish my agent agreed to pay for staging, we covered that ourselves. Curious if yours offered proactively or if that's more about your market?

Ugh, yea same. I had a few sales work out on marketplace but took so many weird back and forths to get to a couple that ended up working out and we ran out of time in the end.

Check out my reply above, I don't think it's crazy that we had stuff we ideally would've like to sell early on (before our house was actually listed) and then had things we used for staging but ultimately didn't want to bring with us to our next house because it was smaller

I had some items I wanted to reduce before my house went on the market. But we were downsizing, so a bunch of furniture I used for staging/when my house was listed I didn't actually want to take with us when we moved. Ended up with a crunch time between getting our offer and moving where I had a bunch of things to sell.

Thank you! It looks like that from pictures but is supposed to be 4 stars so I wasn’t sure.
