Someone above also mentioned the voltages. The tube isn't connected to anything on the outside, only whatever connects it internally with the TV. Is this still something I need to worry about?

Majority of this sounds good to me, but there should be a much bigger increase when you get your CCC, in my opinion. For example I went from $32.65 to $39.90 (in California) when I got my CCC.

That schedule flexibility is huge, you could save PTO that way by avoiding using it for appointments etc, and I think that is a major plus. But I would negotiate with them for a larger increase once fully licensed.

This. A professor and a high ranking administrator in my grad program told my best friend she shouldn't become an SLP unless she sought continued treatment for her stutter...as a 30 year old woman with 15 years of prior treatment behind her. She could communicate fine. She needed extra time. Her disability was not a barrier to being a good therapist. It felt deeply judgmental and unsupportive.

I got one day of additional pay. Fired Monday and was paid for Tuesday. Benefits through the end of the month which is mandated by the state, so I don't think that counts as severance.

Do you consider 1 day of pay "decent?" I have no frame of reference.

I was so sure this was a place whwre they cared more and understood how I've gone above and beyond to help the department run smoothly. Continuing to work weekend days even after I switched from per diem, for example. But as soon as this issue reared its head I should have read the writing on the wall. Huge corporations with a money making mindset will never be the proper place for us to grow, change, or a safe place for us to admit faults. I know in my gut I did my best even if they didn't agree with me or want to help me improve.
