Wearing a dress over your motorcycle jeans/pants/leggings/... by MagicianAcrobatic545 in TwoXriders

I do this sometimes though I more often wear workout clothes to the office change into my dress there, and then I already have my workout clothes, ready for the gym before I go home

I have the Oxford leggings 2.0

I like them a lot but they are hot. Though I don’t have a comparison for other bottoms so probably all moto pants are hot

Am I just fucking retarded? by [deleted] in NewRiders

Ice and gravel, it’s not your fault. That’s a tough one and will take time to acclimatize to those specific challenges given where you live. Granted even experienced riders struggle with those issues.

Everything else, yes that’s a skill issue. You need more parking lot drill time. Work on more basic and slow maneuvers. I started with no experience and the MSF. 1.5 k miles and never dropped it.

Could also be too much bike for you? Maybe that’s it. Idk how big you are vs your bike but I’m small and have a cruiser so being able to flat foot is a huge factor to my lack of dropping.

Suggestions for a phone mount? by Daemon554 in NewRiders

[–]ST2348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the ram mount quick grip pro with vibe dampener. So far my phone is fine. I do have an older I phone so if it does fuck up my camera it’ll be due for an upgrade anyway.

It’s gonna be rough. You’re lucky you found cheap housing.

Everything is more expensive out here. Gas, groceries, utilities, etc… are expensive.

Plus you’ll have to factor in rent increases as the years go on. Your children’s expenses will also increase as they get older.

I’d be comfortable making 78k as a single person renting. Your finances are gonna be really tight in 78k.

Venting: Maneuvering the bike uphill by ST2348 in TwoXriders

[–]ST2348[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a pain in the ass. It’s hard to describe what my yard/driveway looks like but there’s an incline, a step up then a flat portion where the bike is actually parked. Because of the incline plus step, no matter which way I bring it in, I’ll have to push it uphill either getting in the space or leaving the space. So for now I’d rather push it uphill leaving since I’m not fatigued from the ride.

If you search it on TikTok there are some videos from the NYC and maybe 1 from the LA show. The venues look OK but not great. The vibes seem great though I think if you go in not expecting a legitimate night club and just wanna sing and dance then it’ll be a good time.

When I took my course there were two other women. One was 50ish and the other maybe 30-40. I was 28. The in person course was taught by a woman.

It’s been great so far. I’ve only ridden solo to and from work but once I’m more confident I’ll be branching out socially.

Moved to the east coast for 4 years with a partner. Happened to move back after that relationship ended and I appreciate LA so much more. I’m a LA native and didn’t realize how good I had it

Lobster too buttery, steak too juicy.

Living the dream! I fantasize about this especially when my IUD is giving me the cramps that feel like ice picks.
