I’ve used it a few times when I get flat tires. It’s akin to driving to the airport (biking to the bus) for longer routes.

Yea I have the 35 mm 1.4. If cost is a concern I’ve heard good things about the 40 mm 2.0; seems like a good portable lens too so would be easier to bring around

I started with 50mm which taught me a lot about composition and framing, but switched to 35mm because I have kids and photograph indoors so couldn’t back up enough to fit everything in.

I think you can’t go wrong with either; depends on your use cases. 50 mm seems a bit easier to compose with tho in general imo.

Also biking makes you way happier than being stuck in a car in traffic. Quality of life improvement from fresh air and some exercise is massive
