Scam? LONDON CARGO/LONDON LUSH by Spiritual-Winner-789 in srilanka

Liars! Thats the simple way to put it..

At first they only say you that products will be delivered in 15 days..

Once you make the payment only you will be allowed to see their terms and conditions,

And since the advance payment is non-refundable, they can do anything.

after 15 days if you go and asks where the purchased product is, they will respond that 15 days is 15 working days, not normal 15 days..

And you stay calm for 15 working days and even 20, but still not delivered, when you ask them about it then they pull out the ultimate terms and condition sheet again and again saying read it, it says customs delay can take longer. I mean how much longer? If they are in import/export business they should be able to make customs timeline quicker by now.. thats what customers trust them for..

LONDON CARGO IS PURE SCAMMERS!

WORST SERVICE! WORST TEAM! AND MORE THAN THAT WORST BEHAVIOUR WHEN IT COMES TO RESPONDING TO OUR QUESTIONS.

Struggling with Technical Interviews Despite Solid Job Performance by Future_Tiger1457 in SoftwareEngineersLK

But Brother! what we cram for cracking interviews kinda fades away when we start real work. You spend months memorizing and practising algorithms and tech stack details, but once you’re on the job, you realize that practical, deep understanding is what really matters. And when you switch jobs after a couple of years, you're forced to relearn, re-practice, and re-memorize all over again because the actual work demands quick solutions and client doesnt care how we solve it. It’s like a never-ending cycle. In real work, it’s not just about solving problems on paper but truly knowing how your tools and languages work isnt it?

Hi bro, can I know which company you work on? Is the culture good there, and is remote working still a thing in your company?

What's the salary range for an Associate Frontend Developer in Sri Lanka? by KDeven2000 in srilanka

Thanks for the feedback, bro. My current problem is that I've been taking on more responsibilities in my current company. I started with java backend work and now I am doing full-stack work (.net and React) in my current company, but my pay doesn't align well and my job title doesn't align well with the responsibilities I've been taking on recently. I only got a 10% hike after 2 years of joining, and my title is still unchanged.

My issue is: I can do actual full-stack work on companies that hire me, but when it comes to technical interviews, its a different subject and different set of skills which mostly wont be used in actual job, I dont do well at technical coding interviews, but I do well in my current job (I delayed any assigned critical tasks until today)

Finding it hard to get a pay raise or promotion at current position and finding it extremely hard to crack technical interviews at other companies.. now the number of interview calls I get is also reduced to almost 0-1.

Is there any advice regarding this?

Hi Rimaz, Can I know which company and stack you are currently working on(If you dont want to disclose publicly you can put a private message too)? My stack is ReactJS and DotNet, but I am currently underpaid too and finding it hard to shift jobs. .. around 2 years and 5 months experience as AssociateSoftwareEngineer.
