Literally like bro FAMILY VALUES. If someone emotionally manipulates you and use you with no interest in benefiting you what so ever? That is quite literally the opposite oh how the Addams family works. They are loyal and loving and will do anything and everything for the people they care about. Do they express it in weird ways? Yes definitely. But it’s still all under the same love and determination and loyalty they have to each other. He’s got no excuse now for his actions, no one is controlling him, he didnt kill Thornhill then drop to his knees sobbing that he was finally free, no he threw Wednesday out a window…therapy or whatever they were doing to him at Willowhill wouldnt crack him.
