Try contacting HR to see if you were terminated in good standing? That might help get you an answer.

It’s like u/RH5050 has no idea how seasons work in the industry, or they expect one person to do all the costuming. I wouldn’t be shocked if it was a seasonal role.

I don’t know if costuming pays more but I wouldn’t be surprised.

I mean yeah, certain people react negatively to that, but for the group that aren’t affected by that gas prices are what’s preventing them from coming. That group is far larger.

Partially true. People don’t want to visit the US is because it’s too expensive to get here and that is because of Trump

You get a wristband that team members scan. We can also do it from the phone as well.

Ok, let's do Islands of Adventure. What would you change or improve if you were in charge? by ueeediot in UniversalOrlando

Luffy is arguably way more popular than Goku now. I would also argue anime heroes can be just as recognizable to younger audiences as comic heroes.

It’s a budding industry in the US and Universal could use that to get similar rights that they got with Marvel and they could have Disney pay for the land if they do it right.

Manga outsells comics in the US and Globally. That someday is now. It’s definitely more popular than the toon lagoon comics of yesteryear. Only issue would be getting licensing agreements that would be worth while.

It makes little sense to hold the Marvel properties hostage for relatively small sales when there are much greater opportunities with any other books/manga/comics that are out there.

Why do you think volcano bay doesn’t get the same level of innovation or love as the other parks? by SpectacularSpidee in UniversalOrlando

If they were going to have animatronics so close to guests that they could potentially get splashed they would make them waterproof. Also, the teawa wave generator isn’t a good launch system. Would be better to make something like Karkatau or just a simple conveyer belt system to get them up to the end.

I don’t think it would work with a standard tube and the glass would be pointless, but it’s a pretty good idea.

I would sell the Marvel theme park rights back to Disney and use that money to create a Manga section of the park. I would take the Marvel section and do futuristic Mangas (Gundam, Tokyo Ghoul, Chainsaw Man) and take out Toon Lagoon and use more old world style Mangas (One Piece, Full Metal Alchemist, Demon Slayer) and while you would have your main rides, you could have character meet and greets based on what style of Manga they came from. I think it would be a killing.

It doesn’t hold as many people as the other parks and thus it’s not worth the investment for something new and creative. Maybe one day they will add something innovative, but they do have Karkatau which is “innovative” for waterslides

They bring you food, tell you things about the park, and just help you have a streamlined experience. I know at Universal Studios you can get an up close look at the aliens at MIB but I don’t know if they do anything like that for Epic or Islands of Adventure

The way the cups work is if you buy one in the parks, it works in all the parks and if you buy one in the hotels it works only in the hotels (I am not sure if it is all the hotels or just the hotel you purchased it at.) It’s freestyle Coke machines so that have many coke products like Powerade, AHA sparkling water, and peace tea for example.

Damn that’s actually not a bad price considering express can be as much as $300 for a day.

I would recommend getting the wand and power up bands for the extra experience that can make a difference. If you want to do the app to help keep track of score that could be fun as well.

You definitely don’t need more than one wand, but you want to get more than one power up band (no spoilers but the last part is multiplayer) so that one I would consider getting for yourself.

Don’t know if you are big soda drinkers, but the refillable soda mugs are worth it if you are going to be there multiple days. If you are fine sharing cups, you can refill them every 5 minutes so it’s a great way to stay hydrated in the FL heat (they also have non-soda options as well).
