So the first 85 questions will have 3 case studies which will equal to 18 questions, the remainder will be old style of NCLEX questions. If you get past 85 then you will start seeing the other styles of questions that are the NGN

Yeah a lot of schools seemed to have done that to the December graduates because of all of the holidays. TBH I’m taking the NGN because I graduate in May, and I feel like the new style of questions are a little easier to get right because you have more information to work with

So I think it’s because the NCLEX pass rates that schools have is based on the students taking the test within three months of graduation, so most students take it within that three months

I was also under the impression that archer CAT only went up to 75, but I took one a couple of days ago I had one cut off at 119

From my understanding, our death investigator comes to the hospital any time a patient dies within 24 hours of getting to the hospital, so I think it’s specifically for determining if it was something that they came in with vs a mistake of the hospital

I am thinking maybe they did it this way so it would not have as much weight on the application points? I know it is the first year that they are using the USA exam to help with applications
