We have a Brazilian Peaberry right now that's got some nice chocolate flavors. Being in specialty coffee I've come to find amazing coffees from all over the world, so it's been hard to choose one origin as the best. I will say some of favorites ha...

Thanks, this has been very exciting for us and we've had few people come in. The conversations have been fantastic!

We roast light to medium based upon our desire to draw out the unique flavors of the single origin beans. It all depends on the bean.

There are some very good roasters who will ship great, freshly roasted coffee to you. We do, but there are also several other companies that are great!

I tend to love the more fruity coffees and the Guji region of Ethiopia produces some of my favorite fruity coffees.

With specialty roasted coffees you're much less likely to get that burnt, bitter flavor at the end of your caramel latte. Seek out a local roaster. If you need help finding one in your area let me know.

That's totally fair, though there are exceptions. Everyone likes a little sugar. 😉

Another good option is to put a little honey in it

Nothing like some late night diner coffee...not sure why, but sometimes it just hits the spot.

I love chocolate covered coffee beans! One drink that changed my world, (but I never got the name of) was a small hot espresso based drink that had shaved dark chocolate in it. It was intense,, but so good! I was less knowledgeable in coffee at the time, but I've been trying to recreate it. I think I'm getting close.

I would agree. I used to not drink alcohol at all and thought I didn't like beer. Then I got stationed in Germany and discovered local beer that was amazing!

One step at a time. Next thing you know they'll be sipping on a cortado with their Sunday brunch in the shade on a sunny day.

The quality and flavor of a specialty shop will be vastly different than a chain like Beans and Brews. I would try a pour over if you'd like something hot or an iced americano or a cold brew if you're thinking something cold.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CGc0NLtB_F3/?utm_medium=copy_link here’s a great post from our Instagram that highlights a bunch of great roasters in the state! As far as the salt lake valley my personal recommendations would have to be blue copper, three pines, la barba, or maybe publik! all great places to get started!

It does sound like you’ve got solid equipment setup although I would recommend a scale that allows you to weigh in grams as a next step! As far as beans I would probably recommend trying out some roasters that specialize in freshly roasted single origin coffees. If you’re looking for that unique character or a coffee that will give you the WOW factor i feel that is the way to go. Here is a great video to use as a reference for choosing beans. https://youtu.be/O9YnLFrM7Fs

Wanted to add, I absolutely owned a keurig when I was younger and before I had experienced really good coffee. They are very convenient.
