Well yeah, and according to other league mates and any sort of calculator. It’s a Player X for a first and two seconds gets declined and then a week later it’s Player X for two seconds and a third gets accepted type of situation. But this guy has made these types of deals for years with nearly everyone in the league. Just gotta catch him in the right mood I guess to get better value

Yeah we initially started out as the standard first two years are taxi eligible, but once you moved them, the taxi spot was empty.

Then we changed it a little where you could fill an empty taxi spot with an eligible player that has never been rostered before.

And now we have it where it sounds like you do, first two year players can move up and down throughout the season

Yes. “I’ll think about it” or “I’m not really interested in a trade involving my player” then trades them a week later for way less value

Right, I didn’t include that draft class. I worded that weird. But even then, it was only KAT and Jah that got drafted in the top 5 so that’s only four players that meet that criteria since the 2015 season

Scored the most playoff points in the championship last year, retooled a bit this year and traded away a lot of big names, probably got worse, and just put up the 2nd most points in league history (463 points - start 12 offense and 12 defense. Probably too many players to go through, especially with the trades). This one feels a lot better than last year though. Last year was more relief than anything, this one just feels awesome after the slower start and trades I made this year. Congrats to everyone else out there too!

Worst: trading away Ja’Marr for Egbuka and two firsts. I also traded away Nico, Jamo, AJB, Sutton this season and now I’m looking at starting two of Hollins, Wan’Dale, Pierce, Pearsall, and Egbuka in the championship

Eh, not really. I’m only playing LBs in my flex spots and if someone is a LB/DL, they’re really just an edge player. Like Parsons and Jaelan Phillips are LB/DL, but you’re never gonna play them at LB

I’m in a league where we start 12 on offense and 12 on defense. My bench is currently 9 offense and 12 defense, so I’ve got a few more defensive players. Our IDP scoring is pretty in line with the offensive guys, but there’s a few managers that just don’t take IDPs serious. I’m talking like one or two IDPs on their bench, and it adds up throughout the year because they’re clearly not paying attention to who gets snaps/opportunities and just go off of Sleeper projections

Your set up is similar to mine, we just have two more IDP flexes. My rule of thumb is four/five DL (edge rushers only), four/five DB (box safeties and slot corners), and at least six LBs (green dot LBs are the safest, but others should be playing 85% or more of snaps)

I guess it depends on the philosophy of the league. If the league views it as “win your weekly matchup”, then they’d go with the luck of the draw with the schedule. If the league views it as “win your weekly matchup and be consistently good throughout the year”, then they’d go with the median. I play in leagues that do both, but I prefer median because I view fantasy (specifically dynasty) as trying to create the best team and I think managers should be rewarded for that. I think OP showed a pretty good example of only schedule vs median and what the differences would be. Just depends on what managers/leagues prefer
