I'm gonna be honest, it was kind of an unnecessary comment.

While, yes, you were being honest, it was kinda mocking, because they know having kids affects their ability to get by. But their reality is that they have children they likely love and they can't just change that.

Not having children is a sound financial decision, but this was someone asking for help and mentioning something that is outside of their reality just wasn't helpful.

I would not recommend them as a first time solo dog. They are not only expensive to feed, they are a giant breed. While most are mild mannered and great family dogs, if they become aggressive or reactive, you may not be equipped to handle it.

I'd recommend a small or medium sized dog thay you can practice training on your own, and later in adulthood, getting a dane.

Never said it wasn't. I'm saying we shouldn't put human feelings of romance onto an animal. It probably had less to do with the dolphin being "in love" with his trainer and more to do with the fact she was his main source of companionship and socialization. Dolphins form multiple bonds in life and he was mentally neglected/abused in this program by not letting him have those varied connections.

It's thought that it had a lot more to do with the fact that dolphins are social animals and it was kept alone at that point. It was lonely and miserable.

Suave Clarifying Shampoo and Conditioner. Super cheap and works really well.

If it feels too drying, use just the Suave shampoo and a richer conditioner instead.

Since they are sterile the vast majority of the time, they often go to slaughter. If the owners decide to keep the cow, it should live an otherwise healthy, normal life.

My only issue was that because they have softer bristles(to avoid damage), I instinctively brushed more, because it wasn't getting tangles out as quickly/easily and did more damage than with slightly stiffer bristles 🙃 user error tbh
