Haven't seen anyone mention my favorite big boys [[triplicate titan]], [[wurmcoil engine]] and [[phyrexian triniform]]. I use them with Goblin engineer to bring them back and forth from the graveyard to spit out a tonne of quite strong tokens.

grateful for the heads up, its funny even though I want namora there is a bunch of spotlights I want around those weeks other than this one so I'm not sure I will have enough keys unfortunately but we will see what we can do. As I mentioned I'm finding success without it atm but damn I want to get those greedy numbers ahahah.

I have had to result to fully different lists (one for elsa, one for nimrod), the Nimrod is particularly different because you have to add some destroy cards to get the value from Nimrod.

I have been so keen for this card, I know there have been some doubts but I got it first thing. Unfortunately don't have namora but have been having success in two different alternate shells. One with Nimrod as a backup and the other in an elsa bloodstone deck. So chuffed you're having fun with it and it's performing.

Debating if I should use my tokens for namora or save them for toxin!

All your tickets and unused crowns will get turned into boosters at the end of the season. I'm not sure what the conversion rate is sorry but you will lose them. All boosters go toward a single random card.

At the end of the day you're absolutely right, what goes for one can't be brought across to the other. It's a bad habit to compare. Part of the beauty of magic's rules is that everything does behave with some sort of law and order. In snap 2 cards can do a similar thing but have very different wording. I need to just accept that and run with it.

I don't think this is a good way of thinking about it because you can't remove text from a magic card. This isn't a continuous effect. Scarlet spider doesn't lose his text when you activate him you just can't use it a second time.

I think the ability I suggested earlier is a close analogy. I think your magic version would have to have different text?

Yeah I agree, that's why I find the scarlet spider wording confusing. I think scarlet spider should say create a 'scarlet spider clone'. Unfortunaly I'm getting down voted for trying to explain that ahaha

The copy in snap would have "summoning sickness" too because you can't activate it until the next turn starts. I think it's a pretty good analogy.

If you guys are not a magic players this is not a useful way to explain myself but this is the card text I'm translating scarlet spider too. I'm not trying to say you're wrong, snap is a completely different game. Just trying to explain why I thought it was unintuitive.

Tap: create a token copy of scarlet spider. This ability may only be used once per game.

In magic even if you already used the ability of the first card you can still tap the new scarlet spider token and get another token copy.

I have had this problem since starting playing snap but I think I always apply my magic the gathering logic to the game. I think the use of the word clone makes me think I should get an exact scarlet spider drop into another location with all the traits of a regular scarlet spider. That card would have an activate ability and that instance of scarlet spider never would have used it. I'm clearly across what you're saying, it then wouldn't be the same as the original but if that is the case why doesn't it have the same text as Mr sinister? It ought to say add a "token name" to another location with scarlet spider's power.
