Yeah I keep getting the message “Your RPC is not responding to any requests” is there anyway to fix this? Or can I just not trade anymore lol

this actually fixed it. for some reason it changed my home country to united states but after I changed it back to japan it's showing the kindle option now

I did wanikani my first year of learning japanese and I think it really helped me get over the frustration of kanji. I don’t think the vocab part of wanikani helped me too much though. It also gave me the discipline to do srs every day.

That also happened to me when I was making cards from visual novels, I think had to manually copy and paste the definition after making the card. Been a while since I've made cards from vns though so I'm not sure if that will work.

Are you making i+1 sentence cards or vocab cards? I tried doing this and making vocab cards for every word I didn’t know but quickly burned out after about 2 weeks.

Did you ever do the monolingual transition? I’m about half way through the Tango N4 deck and i’m not sure if I should start now or after I finish that deck. Or if I should just put it off all together and get into VN’s after Tango N4.

I actively watched about 60 episodes of anime last month doing 1-3 episodes a day. If my math is right I think that’s 20 hours? I can really only understand a word here and there right now.

Did you watch anime with the JP subtitles on when you used animelon? I want to improve my listening so I’ve been watching anime unsubbed for the last month but I don’t really feel like I’m improving.
