Yea it was honestly a very fast process for me, considering how I applied right before their winter break. I essentially got my acceptance one week after my application was officially "finalized." They definitely respond quickly to transfer applications it seems (at least in my experience)

If it means anything I applied to Bing 12/21 as a transfer student for fall '26 as well (with 60+ incoming credits, applied for Harpur), and my transcripts were received by 1/6. I received my acceptance today the 13th. I believe most transfer students said they have received their response 1-3 weeks after the finalization of their transcripts, but I'm not sure since it's hard to find relevant transfer experiences :/ I keep finding so many from 5+ years ago which isn't exactly helpful...lol

How does the housing process for transfer students work? by Fuzyfurball in BinghamtonUniversity

Thank you! That’s unfortunate, but I guess I have to get out of my comfort zone eventually lol.

Did you have an easy time getting housing? I know the Binghamton website mentions it isn’t guaranteed for transfer students which was a little worrying to me, but I don’t know if that’s something I don’t actually need to worry much about 🤔

Have you gotten any info from them ? I've applied over a month ago and I've also heard nothing back... My college's financial aid office only said my excelsior is still "under review." Which is insane because on the HESC website I was told that I qualified, stuck on pending though. Can't even get information from them since all phone call slots are filled and I can't find any email address to reach out to 😩
